My name is Nikita Bijlani. I am a freshman at Baruch College, CUNY, where

I am currently majoring in Finance. I am from Muttontown, New York. Some of my hobbies include swimming, golf, reading, and learning about history.

I decided to become a Finance major after taking an Investment class in high school. My business teacher showed me how to invest in stocks and bonds, and from there I knew I loved finance. In college, I have been exploring different clubs that have my interests, such as Baruch’s Women In Business.

My research topic discusses the role of GPA as an indicator of future success. I became passionate about this topic when COVID-19 shut down the SAT/ACT process. Can GPAs really determine future success among students?
