This week’s reading is a watching! Please watch at least the first 24 minutes of this 2008 documentary. As we move into audio our next project is an audio remix.
Your audio projects do not have to sound anything like Girl Talk, this is just a jumping-off point to learn about some of the ideas about remix.
One of the big takeaways here is culture always builds on the past. We did this with the photoshops we did and now we will be expanding that idea in audio form!

The music and lyrics are in the public domain in the European Union and the United States. The copyright expired in the European Union on January 1, 2017. A U.S. federal court ruled in 2016 that Warner and Chappell’s copyright claim was invalid and there was no other claim to copyright.
