Overall, It is safe to say that Luigi Russolo is also a futurist musician. When I reading the article, I feel like Luigi did not have any complains or dislike the new form of music, which is the combination of the different unique noises. Standing at the 1913 timeline point of view, I feel like it is not easy for someone if not for anyone to accept a new form of music made by snores and driving noises because usually, the classical music formed with “rules” (made by Chords, scales or patterns) took over the music industry. I really like how he said, “Each noise possesses a pitch, at times even a chord dominating over the whole of these irregular vibrations.” He is really considering to put the noise into patterns and make it into the new generation’s music. In fact, today, a lot of pop music is formed by those “noise” such as raps soon and rock and roll. If we think about it, it is funny that these geniuses can predict or see ahead of the time of what changes may happen in certain “industry”. Just like the “New Media Art” article’s author, he also successfully predict and see what the impacts of new media such as TV, books and the uses of spreading ideas changes far away from the future.
Another point that I would like to mention is that during a time period where the church, classical songs are the most popular, it is also possible that when Luigi expresses his ideas to the world, he got muck or criticize by other people who think noise only belongs to noise and can’t use the other way.
I find the “The Dial-A-Poem Poets: You’re the Guy I Want To Share My Money With-Back to Giorno Poetry Systems / Dial-a-Poem Poets” kind of interesting. It gives me a feeling of adventure gameplay. In addition, I can not determine what items or instruments that the music was made from. There is also an interesting women’s voice came out periodically, but I do not know what she was saying, but it added a little more flow to the track in my opinion. It is also combined with a lot of repetitive in the main melody, which creates a mystery type of feeling alone with the beats in the background that make the song pops and easy to remember
