Take Advantage of Your City

In this months featured story, I’d like to introduce to you, Danny Chen, a college student residing in Boston, MA. Prior to attending college, Chen lived in Queens and didn’t visit museums and art galleries in the city often.

“Since college has started, I have taken every possible opportunity to visit museums during my time back home in New York. I am currently studying in Boston, and there’s nothing I miss more than the museums that make up New York City.”

Which is your favorite museum/art gallery?

“Pixel Forest” at The New Museum

My favorite museum would be The New Museum. They always have amazing exhibits, and are frequently changing their exhibits. I’ve been there about three times, and its always something different. My favorite one was the Pixel Forest.”

Would you rather visit museums on your own, or with friends?

“I love visiting museums with my friends. It definitely helps that as a college students, the friends I have are more interested in art than if we had been high school students. I’m more of an outdoor person when it comes to spending quality alone time.”
