The majority of society believes that something that currently exists will always exist. The thought that something that has always been constant in our lives will someday disappear is not something that people often think about. Animals like the polar bear; many find it inconceivable that it could one day be nonexistent.
Now, the same issue affects the moose. Since the late 1990s, the moose population has been declining each and every year. The article claims this is due to many factors, such as environmental ones like ticks and other animals, as well as unregulated hunting.
Such an issue may seem nonexistent, but with so many species that have been a constant for many years to suddenly be dwindling, is a tell-tale sign of the continuing declining conditions of our environment.
Hopefully science can resolve a way to preserve not only the moose population, but all deteriorating species and environments.
