Welcome to my blog, Do This, Not That! I’ve created this blog because as I’ve lost 70 pounds, I’ve had several people ask me how I did it. They would often tell me what they were doing to live a healthy life and where’d they heard it from, and most of it was terrible. They have a million people telling them different things, most of which is wrong, and it can be quite frustrating and confusing. Well this blog hopes to end that confusion by finally telling you what works and what doesn’t. I’ve pretty much tried everything, and if I haven’t done it, I’ve read about it or know people who have. This blog particularly focuses on those who are just transitioning into healthy living and need to know what works and what doesn’t. I am not selling a product or service, but I am simply just sharing sound information that you can use to lead a healthier life without having to spend hours searching through websites for contradicting information. They’ll promise you a beach body in 89 minutes by taking a special pill or tell you that you can lose 100 pounds in 2 weeks with their special diet. Truth is folks, 2/3 Americans are currently overweight or obese and most people see this as a huuuuuuuge market to capitalize on, especially since its growing quickly. Additionally, most people don’t want to put in hours at the gym, as we’re all pretty busy and we’d rather the easy way out. I understand, I’m right with you. But as long as you keep looking for that get-fit quick scheme and companies can keep providing you products that promise to do just that, you’ll be in a never-ending loop where you never achieve your goals and the company’s pockets get deeper.
