The other day, Dr. Luke Waltzer visited our class to talk about creating digital essays. At first I told him that Maria, Anna, and I were going to work as a group and connect our projects together. Luke didn’t exactly approve of this and said it would be difficult because it sounded like we all were going in a different direction according to our research paper proposal. As Luke went on commenting the rest of the proposals, I was half listening, but mostly brainstorming. I was brainstorming about how it would be possible for the three of us to link our projects together. I came up with an idea for the video that would connect everything. Thinking about the video made me realize what our more focused topic would be compared to our scattered ideas. We will be focusing on how celebrities influence teenage health (specifically in women). Does that sound like it could stretch into a 7-10 page paper?? Well, I’m really excited to make this video with Anna and Maria! It’s going to be a lot of work but I know it’s going to be a lot more fun!

I didn’t think too much about how we would be able to link this to the essay’s we’ve read and discussed in class anyone have any ideas that they want to help pitch in? 🙂
