Cool videos. I really appreciate you posting them because they most definitely fall under the category of my forte in movies. I have to sheepishly admit it took me a while to get through the clips. Ever since I went to my first movie in the theaters I’ve been petrified of sci-fi movies. The whole idea of robots or machines taking over the world frightens me (even gives me the chills) and I can’t wait to see where your blog takes you. I had to pause the clips/trailers numerous times to contemplate the idea of the human superiority in life diminishing and the rise of technology rising. If one actually sits and reflects on his/her life and looks back at one’s actions, it’s scary to note how many of these actions can be done by machinery and technology. Could human brainpower be on the path to “extinction” and technology will be the new superior race?
Looking forward to seeing where this “digital essay” brings you.
