You are invited to submit your photographs for potential inclusion in a juried photography exhibition at Baruch’s Mishkin Gallery this spring. All members of the Baruch community – whether students, staff, or faculty – are eligible to participate.
This is a photography exhibition. While digitally enhanced images are acceptable, digital illustrations will not be accepted. All submissions to this site must be in digital format, but submitted photographs can be digital or film-based in origin.
ENTRY GUIDELINES
- Eligibility is restricted to current Baruch students, faculty, and staff;
- Entrant must provide functioning Baruch email address, and provide his/her name and Baruch affiliation (ie, student, staff, faculty);
- Entrant may submit up to two images for consideration;
- While all submissions to this site must be in digital format, images can be from analog (film) or digital sources;
- For each image, entrant must provide the title, date, and physical size (in inches) of the photograph;
- Digital images submitted to this site must be either .jpg or .gif files, with file size no greater than 1MB and no larger than 1000×1000 pixels;
- Initial judging will be based solely on digital images submitted to this site;
- Final judging will be based on physical artwork;
- Accepted artwork must be framed for gallery display.
DEADLINES
- Submissions to this site must be received by 5:00pm EST on MARCH 5, 2010. Submissions received after this date will not be considered;
- Initial notification will be made via email by MARCH 12, 2010;
- Accepted submissions must be delivered, unframed, to the Mishkin Gallery between 12 and 5pm on March 17 & 18, 2010; for final judging;
- Final notification will be made via email by APRIL 16, 2010;
- Work must be picked up from the Mishkin Gallery between 12 and 5pm on April 19 & 20, 2010;
- Accepted artwork must be framed for display with hanging wire attached and received by the Mishkin Gallery between 12 and 5pm on April 28 & 29, 2010;
- Framed artwork must be picked up from the Mishkin Gallery between 12 and 5pm on JUNE 7 & 8, 2010.
