CUNY Office of Continuing Ed & Workforce Programs is partnering with The Volcker Alliance to hold an essay contest for CUNY students in Junior standing in Bachelors programs. The contest will ask students about their understanding of public services and interest in careers in the public sector.
Winners will receive:
- $5,000 cash prize
- Metrocards for the year
- Paid internship with a local government agency,
- Trip to a public service conference in Washington, D.C.
- Mentorship
The Volcker Alliance is hosting information sessions at Queens College (9/17 at 3:00), BMCC (9/26 at 5:00), and Lehman College (10/4 at 3:00). You can RSVP for an information session at volckeralliance.org/essay-contest.
