North Shore Strategies: Spring Political Internship

This hands-on Spring 2020 internship program exposes students to the political scene across the five boroughs of New York City, preparing students to obtain leadership roles on future political campaigns. The program is both intensive and comprehensive by assigning interns to essential roles within the senior staff of a campaign. The program focuses on main competencies including direct voter contact, electoral/organizational systems training, campaign business/operations/finance training, and becoming a diverse field director. Many of North Shore’s previous interns have graduated from the program and get promoted to a management role on a campaign generally during an immediately following cycle.

North Shore Strategies’ is seeking self-starting students to contribute to important Spring 2020 Campaigns for clients like Congressman Max Rose of New York’s 11th Congressional District.

Through the internship program, students will gain valuable skills that are crucial in the political sphere which include: how to be a consultant, how to operate vote builder, client management, an inside look at the workings of a political campaign, and how to be an organizer.
