The Baruch STEM Research Academy is one of ten research academies administered by CUNY’s Office of K-16 Initiatives. The program consists of a spring college-credit science course followed by a paid summer research experience, designed to provide students with an opportunity to build essential literacy and numeracy skills while engaging in authentic inquiry activities.
The STEM Research Academy is a proud member of the NYC Science Research and Mentoring Consortium, a partnership of academic, research, and cultural institutions committed to providing dynamic, mentored, science research experiences for NYC high school students who have an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
- Programming offered: Spring/Summer cohort only.
- Population served: Current NYC public high school students (10th & 11th grade).
