Ilirian Blog Post 3

I don’t write in too many places, I only write when I have to or if it’s for my own benefit. I write on a class blog in school like I am doing right now. I consider this platform to be private since only my professor and those in my small English class can see what I write. If it were to be moved to public then I wouldn’t really mind because it wouldn’t make sense to anybody besides us. I write e-mails which are somewhat private, it depends on what the receiver chooses to do with the message. If it’s a personal message that somehow became public then I could possibly be in some trouble. I write messages to family/friends on Instagram/Facebook. These are all private and stay between us only. If the things I wrote to my family/friends were made public then I would probably have to leave the States and change my identity. I write notes to myself on post its on my desk at work. These are private but anybody can see them because they just sit on my desk. I write these notes so I can keep all my work in order and have everything go smoothly. If these post its were exposed to the public then nothing would happen. One of the most important things that I do write in is my notebook for work. It doesn’t stay at work because the things I write inside are very private. I work at a performance auto shop in New Jersey and my job there is to tune the cars computer. I have been fidgeting around with the computer used to tune cars for quite some years and I am comfortable with tuning almost anything on four wheels. I’ve developed a secret technique for tuning one specific car, the BMW E92. If you know anything about cars, you know that these are all over the tri-state area, which is why the parking lot at work is full with over a hundred of them waiting to get tuned. I often get asked by customers if I could share the layout of the tune to them, which is always a no. It is so important for the numbers I log in this notebook to remain private because somebody could just sell my tune without my approval. I could lose money, and most importantly, my years of hard work will mean nothing now.  I write in quite a few places, but none of the writing I’ve done in my life is as important as my workbook, It contains the secret recipe to the goal I’ve been working towards since I started helping my father work on cars.
