The advertisement that I chose was “Introducing iPhone 11 Pro” by Apple. In this advertisement, Apple shows us how the new iPhone 11 Pro is the closest you will get to perfection in today’s smartphones. It shows how the new iPhone doesn’t compromise anything to give the consumer the best quality and performance when it comes to there phones. It has a stainless steel structural band giving the phone durability and a heavy-duty reinforced glass on the back. The glass is sculpted from the reinforced glass sheet and then reinforced again giving it the matte finish. Its glass is made to last with the uses an average person might throw at it. Apple also shows us the new tri-camera on the back of the iPhone 11 Pro giving us Telephoto, Wide, and the new Ultra-Wide camera. It also shows us the new night mode which helps us take better images at night giving us a brighter picture-perfect image. Apple advertisement then goes on and talks about the privacy that comes with there new iPhone. The iPhone has better face recognition than before and the front camera allows the face recognition a wider angle to recognize your face and allows a faster time to unlock your phone. Finally, it shows the iPhone 11 being water-resistant to drastic measures.
Apple uses its name as a source of credibility from previous products to help consumers believe that they are getting a better product than before. Apple was recently declared the first trillion-dollar company in the world which helps the tech giant gain the respect of the general population. In the advertisement, Apple does various tests on the iPhone 11 Pro. For example, when Apple is showing its glass on the back of the iPhone they are showing the process from start to finish. They show the drilling of the holes to fit the hardware perfectly, then they go on to perfecting the corners, and last they show the reinforcing of the glass. Apple then goes on doing tests on how durable the glass is. They throw the phone from the top of a machine and show us that it doesn’t break. It also gives us statistics showing how the phone processes data faster and how long the battery lasts from the previous phone. Apple also demonstrates all of there phones new hardware such as the night mode and the Ultra-Wide camera. Apple basically shows the consumer tests that show us how durable and faster the new phones are. They also are a credible company due to the success of there old products.
I like how you mentioned that Apple makes themselves an even more credible company every time they release a new product. Apple has been dominating phone sales for many years, I doubt they will stop the use of their strategy anytime soon.
