Private Vs public Blog 3

I believe a lot of people seem to think more when they’re in the shower, just because it’s a place of relaxation and thought. A quiet area. I wouldn’t say that I write in the shower, but I definitely get ideas that I quickly write down after. If I have an essay due, or some sort of assignment, I sometimes have trouble coming up with how to start it off, or how to continue my thoughts.  After a shower, my brain usually comes up with something smart. Perhaps the Bathroom has that effect on most people? I think if we were to look at it in a bigger picture, I would say that all social media platforms are involved in the writing process. From Facebook, to Instagram, to Snapchat, there are many platforms where people express themselves, talk about their lives, and just spend their time writing. Concerning the public and private issue, these definitely fall into the public area. Even if you’re trying to make your writing private, Social media and the Internet would probably never allow that. Everything that you post on the Internet will somehow come back to you. Doesn’t necessarily have to be in a bad way, but just know that all your information is stored, and that anyone can see what you write. So even if you’re trying to be private with what you say, some people that you might not want seeing your posts, could very well see it. A more private way of writing would be to write inside a  journal, or diary of some sort. something that doesn’t leave a digital trace. In most cases I would say that writing in private would be a little more wiser than posting In a public setting such as social media. I know a lot of people that voice their Political opinion on their social media, and it came back to bite them. Although if you do wanna post on public setting such as social media, a good place to do that would be something like the site, “Reddit.” It’s Anonymous posting site, although do users do have their own usernames, their real name is protected. I myself sometimes go on the site and post my thoughts on current events and other random things. There are also other sites where you can be Anonymous when writing. There are many ways to protect yourself from any sort of issues in the future. I think writing in journals would be the best way though.
