Shakes: It is important to know how to make a great shake! Especially for after your workouts. I use the Magic Bullet right now to blend my favorite ingredients to make a tasty shake to satisfy my appetite after a good workout!
Ingredients: 1 Frozen Banana, 1 1/2 cups Trader Joe’s Almond Milk Unsweetened,1tblsp Peanut Butter, 1/2 cup of frozen berries or mangoes, 1 scoop of Protein powder. Blend, Perfection.
Egg salad with a twist: 6 Hard-boiled eggs, 1/2 an avocado, 3 slices of applewood smoked bacon, 1/2 cup of mushrooms, tsp of salt, tsp of pepper, tbsp of japanese mayonnaise, and tsp of sriracha sauce.
Simple Breakfast: There is nothing like eggs and bacon in the morning. I used turkey bacon for this one, and I like to get the cage-free eggs (a little more expensive, but for me at least I feel better about buying it), and a vegetable side is usually good, either cherry tomatoes as in the picture, or sautee spinach/mushrooms/peppers, and I like my cheese, Brie cheese.
Pork roast tenderloin with side of mashed potatoes and spinach: If you are going to workout, you want to eat good too. For this it took me about hour and half to prepare. about 10 minute prep on the pork with 1 hour of cooking in the oven at 325 degrees. I just rubbed it with rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper, and stuffed it with some cloves of garlic. For the garlic mashed potatoes I topped it with brown gravy, and sauteed the spinach with some soy sauce.
