A Quiet Place

What a better way to expose myself to new sounds than to watch a movie who’s known for its creativity in making sounds. I once came across a video on YouTube titled “How the Sound Effects In ‘A Quiet Place’ Were Made” and having not watched the movie yet, I did not want to watch it as a way to relieve myself of spoilers. I eventually watched it this week along with the YouTube video and it honestly surprised me how sounds such as the monster’s movement and such would be created through crunching vegetables such as lettuce and celery.

Broken Fan

I accidentally broke a tower fan the other day by rolling around on my roller chair; the base is no longer stable and I wouldn’t understand the outcome until I put it on rotating mode. It would continuously make a clicking sound mixed with the sound a train makes on a rail, but quieter.
