Classes were canceled at Oberlin College in Ohio after a string of hate-related vandalism. These vandalism’s included the drawing of a swastika above the college fountain. The administration of the college canceled classes in order to promote a “day of solidarity”. Some students felt that the administration was not doing enough to protect them from these types of hateful attacks. While other students felt that it was a good quick response to a problem before it escalated further. The students believe that it is not one of the 2,800 students but an outsider that is responsible. Administration on the other hand is not sure.
