Hi, my name is Ravinder Singh. I was born and raised in India. My brother and I immigrated to the United States when I was 14 to get a better education. We moved to Dix Hills, Long Island where I finished high school. I am currently a Student at CUNY Baruch, majoring in accounting. I always wanted to have my own business and I loved accounting because it teaches students about how a business works financially. In my opinion, most businesses/great ideas fail because their leadership doesn’t know the financial side of the business. So, to understand the financial side of business and learn more about operating a business, I decided to choose accounting as my major.
