This article, “E Smoking Among Teenagers” reports that e-cigarette smoking among teenagers has increased in the past three years. This is largely because advertisers have made great strides in marketing these cigarettes towards children. It suggests that e-cigarettes should be banned for anyone under the age of 18 because they still contain nicotine, which can impair adolescent brain development. This article is important to college life at Baruch because I find that a large number of students smoke on campus, and have seen an increasing number of them with e-cigarettes. This article, “Making Do With Less”,   reports that dieting can reduce mental capacity. This is intriguing because diets are famous for being very beneficial in several facets. It relates to college life, because many students have to change their diets to accommodate to their college life, and it may have a great effect on their performance in their classes.
