Both experience inhumanity, but both have been victimized by distinct reasons

James Baldwin’s “Notes of a Native Son” and Paul Monette’s “3275” are quite related facts in their life, where Baldwin faces racism and Monette has been deprived from his rights. I think both of them experience inhumanity fact in their life. But both of them have been victimized by distinct reasons. Baldwin is born as a black, which is God gifted; he is not responsible for being black. So, people should not treat with him unequally or unfairly for his blackness. On the other hand, the epidemic “AIDS”, which appeared in eighties and nineties, caused of human action, such as homosexual activity. From my opinion, Monette expresses his rage not only to save himself but also to save all communities. I agree with Monette’s anger against government that the authority should have taken proper steps for AIDS, they should have raised awareness among the communities so that they can minimize the impact caused by AIDS.

Similarly, the government could take actions little bit earlier against the COVID-19, as they knew that it could spread from China to all over the world. I think, they could raise awareness earlier so that we could minimize the deaths of many innocent people. Also, Monette anger state that government does not take any action to recover from the disease AIDs because the majority gay people infected. Government knows the AIDs is a pandemic disease but they want to help gay community. As a human being, we should consider everyone equally, including gay or lesbian, so that we do not hurt their liberty. Although Monette knows that his life is in the corner of grave, he does not step back; he protests for the rights and deprivations that he has dealt with, so that the future generation get motivation from him.

To sum up, I would say that anger sometimes brings welfare for the society, as Monette does. So, the government should consider Monette’s claims that would bring better humanity to mankind. Last but not the least, Monette’s activity is highly influential to our society.
