The most important thing is voicing their opinions in hopes of a change…

by Great Works

—Joseph Jacobs

It is always sad to read about humanity taking turns for the worst with judgemental and hateful feelings towards one another. Here, we see the saying that “Grief is a sword or is nothing” being used perfectly as people either use judgment cast towards them to benefit them later on or let it eat them alive. Baldwin and Monette both had terrible experiences, but the most important thing is voicing their opinions in hopes of a change. The people that had to go through such an awful period of time have so much to say, and the voice of someone in this dilemma is important to intake. The fight against equality is one that humanity has been facing forever, as it has never been a peaceful world between all races, and the LGBTQ community. It is interesting to see how a disease can influence a feeling towards a specific community, just as we are seeing today with COVID-19. There have been many times when I see the Chinese community suffer from the acts of people in one city of China.
