I’m Kat and a full-time MBA student at Baruch College.

Previously, I worked at a Japanese manufacturer, Canon, for 7 years in Japan and another 7 years in Long Island NY.  I had worked across all manufacturing processes in the value chain for the Digital Camera product – from planning production at the factory to developing new products and doing sales/marketing promotion at the sales company. During 14 years at Canon, the Digital Camera industry had been changed drastically like a roller coaster. I had enjoyed and struggled with this ride. Now I feel so lucky that I was able to experience a furious rise and fall in such a short time in my professional life and pursue my MBA to gain more business skills and academic knowledge. I’m eager to study now more than ever!!!

In my personal life, I love outdoor activities, such as camping, surfing, diving, snowboarding, golfing etc. I like to see and experience something new, then have visited 37 countries so far. I’m a master of Japanese calligraphy. My works were displayed at the National Art Center Tokyo and Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum.
