For those who knows a little about the World War II here is a cartoon , that can give you a general idea of what had happened during the 1939- 1945 in the world.

This cartoon represents the typical understanding of the events that took place during the WWII.
As the history proves this partnership was unavoidable. USA and USSR needed each other, because the German enemy was too powerful and they couldn’t take a risk to loose the war. They have to make sure that the victory was in their pocket.
I also want to point out the most important contradiction that the cartoon has:
