The Horrible Labor Conditions and Underpayment of Bangladeshi Garment Workers

In English class, we were given an assignment where we had the freedom to choose and write about any conflict/ contemporary world issue for the purpose of gaining a better understanding of the issue. My fellow classmates and I engaged in primary and secondary research, obtaining information from multiple sources. I was so glad that our very kind professor, Ms. Pringle, gave us the opportunity to work on a topic that we were interested in, making us very excited to write about issues that we all were deeply passionate about. I decided to talk about an issue that deeply concerned me. There are millions of garment workers in Bangladesh are facing terrible circumstances that are detrimentally affecting their survival. After hearing about this, I immediately wanted to grasp a thorough understanding of what was going on and knew that I wanted to project my concerns for this detrimental matter, while simultaneously paying homage to my parents’ motherland! I really hope you enjoyed reading my paper or learned a thing or two!
