Who really is…Julian Solorzano?

My name is Julian Solorzano. I was born and raised in Queens NY. After high school I attended City-Tech college as an architecture major for a year before I decided to enlist in the United States Airforce. When I was in the Airforce i lived in England for Two years where I had the opportunity to travel across Europe and experience all the different cultures and visit all of my favorite historic sights. For the last two years of the Airforce I lived in Louisiana where I was able to travel all over the southern United States and experience a different American culture as well. I returned to New York in 2019, where I immediately started attending Baruch.
I currently major in Entrepreneurship, and am in my last semester. During Covid, I managed to get a part time job at a wine store here in Queens, and even tried fermenting my own wine over the summer. I currently have a website and blog about making alcoholic drinks from home called Cocktailhammer.com. After graduation I hope to get my foot in the door at a major media company. Until then I will continue building myself and my entrepreneurship goals.
I hope that this course will help reinforce all of the skills I’ve been working on ever since I started my journey as an entrepreneur. So join me as we explore the wilderness of entrepreneurship, and just like Sacagawea, I will do my best to help us navigate through this concrete jungle until we’ve explored the wild of the unknown…um…market.. for a successful startup. I’m still working on the entrepreneur in the wild analogy.
