Rebecca Kate Reed holds a Ph.D. in Psychology with specialization in Cognitive Neuroscience from the CUNY Graduate Center. Rebecca received her B.A. in Human Biology with a concentration in Speech-Language-Hearing sciences from the University of Kansas. Her teaching experience includes psychology, biology, statistics, and algebra. Her research interests address adolescent brain development with regards to risk-taking propensity and decision-making with implications for juvenile justice and mental health reform. The scope of interests and experiences have helped inform her approach to teaching and learning with the Active Learning Lesson plan project at Baruch College.
