Yuliya Ochakovskaya is a doctoral candidate in the Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience subprogram of Psychology at the Graduate Center (CUNY). She is conducting research using EEG with her advisor Dr. Jennifer Mangels at Baruch College and using brain stimulation with Dr. Elizabeth Chua at Brooklyn College. Her research examines how various academic settings influence student motivation. She completed her masters in Teaching Students with Disabilities at City College and her undergraduate at Stony Brook University.
