Doctoral Fellows

Miyeun Jung

Miyeun Jung is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Administration and Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY. She specializes in evaluating the impact of K-12 education systems on students’ health and behavioral outcomes through a social equity lens. Her dissertation examines the causal effects of three types of school-based interventions—healthcare services, school support services, and curricular regulations—on these outcomes, with a focus on New York State. As a public policy scholar, she aims to provide empirical evidence on how state and local public sectors influence human development, shaping long-term individual trajectories and promoting social equity.
