Extra Credit: How Technology is used in China

China has been a major economic player in the world economy yet it is not known for its technological prowess in modern times. However, it has been playing catchup with the rest of the world. They have been adopting many technologies from other countries implementing them, with one example being the magnet trains which has provided faster transportation and made available for use. Although there have been positive benefits to having technology improved in areas, there have been negative effects due to how it is handled. One major example of this is the censorship of the internet where the government has banned information access on what they view to be harmful. This essentially slows down progress in areas such as information ethics. So technology in China can go both ways, it can be for the betterment of its society
or not.
