Philippines like any other developing countries benefit from technology in many ways. Since the rise of the computers in the Philippines had started, the people had greatly benefitted from it in a sense that advances in computers and telecommunications would mean more access to networking from within and outside of the country, and also getting more updates in terms of information to the public. More specifically, I have noticed a big boom in telemarketing jobs in the Philippines which opened many opportunities for many working college students to earn money. And in a political point of view, computerization of election processes has made it more efficient and convenient for a voter which leads to better understanding of how accurate the government would work. If this keeps up, perhaps the advances in technology could expand to the agriculture of the country which in turn could help the economy grow. If this could be done, then Philippines would fix many problems from within such as less inflation and poverty.
