- I think executors should be allowed access to a deceased persons’ email and Facebook accounts in certain situations. Such as Helen and Jay Stassen’s son who committed suicide, due to the unclear death of their son, they need to find out the answer. Therefore executors should have the right to access his accounts to find more related information.
- 2. Why would technology companies like Google be opposed to laws that allow other people to access a user’s account after that person dies?
- Google is a worldwide company that keeps a lot of customers that based on their trusts on the company. They believe that Google provides a trustable service that won’t divulge any of their pravicy out. If Google cannot keep up its service, they might lose lots of customers, which means they might lose lots of business.
