Excel 2013
In my opinion, Microsoft has definitely made three noticeable improvements to Excel 2013. The three improvements include its more user friendly and interactive interface; its ability to share workbooks over Skydrive or social network, and better visualization tools. Microsoft has made Excel 2013 more interactive and user friendly by introducing features such as “flash fill” and “quick analysis”, these features make first time Excel user feel more at ease. Excel 2013 has also improved its visualization tools, for example, when someone has no clue what chart or graph to use for their data, Excel 2013 will make recommendations based on the data you entered. Excel users will also be able to share their workbooks over Skydrive or social network. This makes it easier for people to accomplish group projects or presentation without the hustle of sending the workbook back and forth over emails.

How I use excel in the work place.
I work in the restaurant business, therefore Excel is very helpful for me when it comes to keeping an accurate record of daily sales and expenses. Excel keeps all the data organized and easy to maintain. Although I use Excel mainly for the purpose of book keeping, but i know that there are many other useful functions of Excel that I have yet to explore. I can definitely see myself using Excel in the near future on a day to day basis for both professional and personal matters.
