What is the ‘Internet of Things?’
As the article states more and more things are becoming connected to the internet through RFID. Casual things from light bulbs to dishwashers and thermostats.
I believe as time passes it will become a norm that all of our electronic home aplliances and devices are connected to the internet and are being controlled from any location at any time.
I dont believe that this will become a privacy issue. I think that as technology improves the security of our privacy will improve as well. I dont believe hackers will try to figure out our consumption habbits as I dont see how it will help them to know how often do we use our a/c and if our lights are on or not. I do believe that marketing companies will gather this information to try to address us more personally. However I think that if they would have liked to gather such information today they would have been able to even without having all our appliances ‘connected’.

Technology in my country
In Israel, the country which I am from, people are using technology for a various exercises. For one, recently the Israeli DMV has applied a new system that allows the citizens to renew their licenses and state ideas online without having to personally go to the DMV offices. This new system saves a lot of time and frustration.
Another new technology that has been recently implemented is satellite radio, which allows listeners to rewind and skip forward on any radio station they are listening to, whether it is in the car, at the office or at home.
Lastly as smartphones are becoming very popular, most wireless providers are offering only unlimited data call and text plans, and as so the prices are very low – about half of the price in the US for a limited plan – and the service supports 4G LTE and provide high speed at the palm of your hand.

Office
Office 2013 main new feature will be optimal support for touch screens.
Windows 7, which will come out on October 26 will support both tablets and pc’s. The new Office will have the ability to work with conventional mouse and keyboard, but at the same time will have an interface that will be ‘touch-screen friendly’

excel
I use excel at my work mainly to produce reports and analyze data.
I mostly use subtotal formulas to create tables that can be adjusted while keeping the ‘final’ section correct to the adjustment.
