The role of technology in my country (Egypt)
The role of technology in the Egyptian revolution
Technological tools were being used by those who are pursuing more participatory governance in Egypt. Many have used them to great impact, the most famously the April 6 youth movement and Wael Ghonim, the Google executive who was one of the creators of the “ We are all Khaled Said” facebook group and Youtube campaign. Both have been described in the western media for connecting a new generation of Egyptian activists. Even mobile phones were little used in campaigns by the labor movement and judiciary. Social networking is a very famous force in certain layers of Egyptian society.it is a common source for news and information for everyone.
Facebook is the most popular platform, many Facebook users see the site as more of a publishing platform than a space for online socializing. Facebook is the most interesting application of new media; many parties in Egypt used Facebook as a spin machine, Whenever the government provided an opportunity. When security forces broke in their front door on January 26,2011 they immediately put up a Facebook group to collect popular anger and let the media know. This strategy is effective because traditional media such as newspapers and broadcast news shows often report on the size of these groups as a proxy of expressing their own political views.
In addition mobile phones played an important role in the revolution. Text messages and voice calls enabled the Egyptian people to stay informed, and to communicate among themselves and to the outside world.

Using excel at work
Microsoft Excel has many wonderful features to offer the small business user. Excel is most widely known for its spreadsheet function, though it has numerous other uses. Spreadsheets are useful to any type of small business. For example, a spreadsheet can be used as an accountant’s ledger or a professor’s grade book. Invoices and budgets can be prepared with Excel and one might use it to balance a checkbook as well. Spreadsheets are extremely useful in the decision making process and the Goal seek command can even be used to return user specific results. Another popular function of Excel is the ability to prepare and maintain lists such as vendor, customer or employee lists. The user can then use the Filter or Sort commands to produce results that meet a specific criteria. For instance, a tax preparation service might use these commands to return a list of customers who have not used their services for two years or more. They could then market specifically to those customers and perhaps offer them a discount in order to reacquire their business. Lists created in Excel can be converted to pivot tables and pivot charts to summarize the data. What’s exceptional about pivot charts and tables is the ability

using the WileyPLUS learning environment / studying for the exam
Wiley plus
I liked the immediate response to the homework problems and exams. I was being able to find errors I had made, and go back to the chapters to research why I made the error it made learning much easier. Some of the benefits for students are that the complete digital textbook questions assistance including links to relevant sections in the online digital textbook.in addition, it contains multimedia resources including mp3 download, demonstration problems, and encourage more active learning.
Studying for the exam
Studying for the exam differentiates from one student to another according to another according to their preferences. The way I study for the exam is the following.as soon as the professor starts teaching, I start studying. Let’s say we finished two chapters today. I start dividing each chapter into three studying sessions. This technique helps to reduce the stress from studying the five courses that I am taking. Every studying session takes three hours, so I would take a rest every hour for 15 to 20 minutes.i go to eat something or grab a cup of coffee and return back to continue studying. The reason I am taking small periods of rest is that I am giving my mind a chance to rest, so I would be able to recall what I have studied 15 minutes after to transfer the information from the short-term memory to my long-term memory and be able to recall what I have studied.
To illustrate, let say my studying session is three hours. I take rest every one hour for 15 minutes, then recall what I have studied at the end of the period. This way I would be able to recall what I have studied for one day.Afterwards, the next day before I start the next session, I go over what I have studied before .it takes about ten minutes. Then I go over the material for the second time. After recalling the information for the second time, I would be able to recall it for the second week. That is what I do when I study.
