One of the new features on office 2013 is the user-friendly interface with tablets. For example, holding your finger on a misspelled word will bring about a list of corrections. It would be the equivalent clicking the right click on the mouse. Tablets are becoming very popular and making office 2013 user-friendly with tablets will help all those with tablets.
