My intentions going into this class are simple. Doing assignments to the best of my abilities, hand in everything on time, take the time to study and prepare, and maintain a high grade while doing so. I will also take full advantage of the resources I have available to me for example the writing center which is state of the arts. The things I look forward to the most are expanding my vocabulary, learning how to write proficiently, meeting new people in our class, critiquing their work and likewise to help improve mine as a result. The obstacles I foresee myself doing well is writing good essays as well as writing blogs on a high level as I never really thought I did well in most previous English classes and or courses before. As my instructor to help me excel you have to be honest and very specific to help me reach my potential. Also maybe not going through a lot of information too fast because I already forgot how to hand this blog in. Usually I do best where teachers take their time and not rush through their class material. I have an hour train ride to Baruch and back on Mondays and Wednesdays so I will be doing some of my work or reading (not necessarily your schoolwork and school readings I am however reading this great book my friend gave me called Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami which i will be reading tomorrow morning on the train) I have a little over two hours I believe in between my classes on those two days maybe getting some work there. I also have a three day weekend from Friday through Sunday which is gonna be mostly spent with school work and readings like I am doing now.

I feel you, Daniel ! I will most definitely take advantage of the Writing Center to improve my writing/essay skills. As well as meeting new people, I think we both can check that off since we both have the same friends and we’ve been getting closer since the first week of school, so that great. I see you like Fantasy books so I will be going to you for any recommendations.
