The purpose of a society is to maintain order. Do the things that you do to keep society intact. Sort of like checks and balances where they keep the order so that the chaos will never let loose. The purpose of a society based on social contract is to do your job. Not your typical nine to five job, a societal job. Keep yourself educated on what is going on around you, to make sure everyone is doing what they should be doing. Hypothetically if a situation goes wrong it is seen as an example and society itself as whole will follow. Everyone counts as a full citizen in America as long as they do what they are supposed to do in society. There is always going to be a difference between right and wrong. Like how Trevor Noah mentioned something along the lines, everyone is going to be offended when there is a protest. That does not make it wrong. It sets an example but not all people will think it is right.

James Baldwin undertook a major project in painting a picture of all these historical figures. The likes of Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X and Medgar Evars has many accolades and the documentary just adds to his resume. To remind us what these prominent figures were fighting for: equality.  They each had their own way of getting to equality however all very peacefully. It was truly remarkable watching back the Martin Luther King Jr speech how motivating it was, how powerful, and inspiring.

My biggest takeaway is that you have to stand for what you believe in. When times are rough you have to be a leader and speak out to the topic you are fighting for. Others will follow and will support you. Society has its flaws but we as a society will restructure it.
