After analyzing my mom’s issues within her daily routine, I’ve concluded that both of the problems I discovered are in fact real issues, and are negatively impacting her day to day life.

1. what is causing pain? Not eating balanced meals or having time to do things for yourself are both not good for the human body both physically and mentally.
2. Not eating well or having time for things like fitness and reading are problems because they can cause unhappiness, lack of physical strength, and loss of morale
3. My mom has recently made more of an effort to eat lunch every day which is great, but still doesn’t have much time to do the things she loves on a daily basis

Observation Exercise: After observing my Mom progressing through her day on many occasions, I’ve noticed a few recurring issues.

1. She doesn’t always take time to eat breakfast, lunch, or change clothes if needed.
2. She often has to interrupt what she’s doing to take care of another responsibility, causing her to be stressed and delayed sometimes.

These issues may sound trivial, but when you’re running an entire family, it can be difficult to do things for yourself, and self care is very important to be happy and comfortable.

After attempting to brainstorm solutions to my mother’s issue of not always eating breakfast, i consulted with my friend who mentioned the idea of getting my mom a smoothie machine so she can make healthy smoothies every morning so she can have breakfast on the go.
