“Innovation is a process that combines discovering an opportunity, blueprinting an idea to seize that opportunity, and implementing that idea to achieve results.”
I liked this definition because it shows that innovation takes time and is a operation with multiple steps. Many would think that innovation is strictly the results portion, but it all starts with an idea. This definition helps paint that picture. It shows that more work than just creativity goes into innovation.
