The issue with Islamophobia is still a continuing issue in the U.S

The Muslim community has been struggling with the backlash received by American citizens for more than 20 years. This type of backlash has taken forms of offensive emails, verbal and physical violence and it got to the point that the Muslim community started receiving death threats.

9/11 was and still is one of the most horrifying and traumatizing events in the History of United States. In this said day more than 2,000 people lost their lives which lead the country into great mourning panic. This state of panic deliberated into hatred and anger really quickly that was immediately directed, to all Muslim Americans, hitting them like an arrow and leaving them even more traumatized than they already were from the experience.
