Wondering what relevant information to include on your resume with little to no work experience? We got you! Just because you are a freshman or have little work experience, doesn’t mean your resume can’t still be top tier.
Make sure to include the following in order of relevance:
- Relevant coursework. This shows employers what you’re learning about and what subjects you are knowledgeable in.
- Any kind of class projects where you have collaborated with others or was even a leader would look great! For example, if you did a project where you were required to include data, putting the excel functions you used on the project would show the employers you know how to use things like pivot tables.
- Volunteer work and community service really boosts the resume.
- Make sure to put clubs, memberships, leadership, and professional organizational activities to show how involved you are in school & professional activities!
Don’t forget to incorporate bullets under each of these things to explain what you did and fill up one page.
