The youth is our future. Whether it is in the classroom or on courts and/or fields, it is our intention to keep the youth out of the dangerous New York City streets, out of harm’s way and doing something productive in life. “Baby Ballers”, started off as a college blogging project by Aaron Salters that focuses on the on-and-off court abilities of the players that play for Young Bucks. We strive to honor our players with accolades to where the public can visible notice the future of New York City’s youth, through the common interest of playing basketball. Initially we want to launch by recognizing the players and youth under the Young Bucks family tree with post on how the kids are doing in basketball and importantly school. Eventually we’d like to get out to the other teams and add on to the blog. Baby Ballers will recognize NYC’s youth as both scholars and athletes.“Baby Ballers” blog posts, each week, will follow a specific youth AAU team in NYC. The post will focus on coaches, players, team profiles and Scholar of the Week, and Athlete of the Week, it will focus on the player that the coaches pick for me to profile and post of the blog.
