I was looking for this recipe and was glad to find it, the visuals do help a lot. I am making it now. (Someone else asked if you could substitute the pineapple for another fruit, I am assuming you could and maybe with apples? Any other cake?) Thanks

  9. Yes Deborah, as i respond to Harveen you can make it with any fruit that you like. My recommendations with this process would be sweet fruits like apricot, cherries, persimmon, and blubbery. However fruits like apples, pears, bananas, strawberry and kiwi have to be caramelized after the dough its done. So Apple or pears has to be sliced and mixed with a small portion of water, with cinnamon and sugar, and set up in the stove in slow flame until it gets medium soft texture. Finally, after turning upside down the dough of the cake you can add your caramelized apple or pear fruit in the top of the dough. Hope this can kelp you 🙂 Thank you guys!
