Hide behind your art and let your art speak for you. It’s simple, but I like it. There isn’t much of a deeper meaning to it either it’s just don’t try to be out in front of your art explaining, but instead let it speak for itself. When it comes to art there isn’t much you can say that will be more powerful than just leaving it there. It becomes introspective and deep when you let the art speak for you. Even if the piece you’re trying to make isn’t something you put much thought into it becomes something worth a lot of thought when presented without you in it.
When first thought about why I want to make art it was mostly to find a way to express myself in a place that’s as structured as a college. There aren’t many things you can do out of the norm when it comes to this, but with art you can make anything you want. You can pull from other pieces or even make something off the rip. Art is cool because even if you’re in a tough spot in your life you don’t have to make a huge proclamation to the whole world you can just show to a close group and still feel the same.
