There are so many aspects to the life of a student that only a student is able to understand. I have been a full time student at Baruch College for 6 years now and I am finally a senior. I think I have seen it all, although that is probably not so true.
Your typical student is advised to study a total of hours equaling to 3x their class period. For me this is pretty much impossible. We all know that good time management is the number one piece of advice when it comes to studying. And most of us know that studying in school is much more helpful than attempting to do it elsewhere. It is difficult when people work full time and have a life outside of school.
If you think it is hard for you, trust me someone else has it much harder. My biggest piece of advice is to know when to stop. I’ve done the all nighters and the cramming. U have to know when to take a walk. Flash cards have also worked wonders for me as well. Creating them is a big part of the studying process. Re-writing all the information helps to retain it.
I have this page here for any questions on how to make the most out of studying with little to no time.
