In this highly social and digital age, it is very likely that you might have heard about Tibet from someone or somewhere. Maybe from a friend or on the news. I am a Tibetan and online social networks have been a really useful output for getting the word of Tibet out to people. I use multiple social networking sites such as Facebook, Youtube, and Tumblr. I also have multiple websites and blogs which are edited through different programs. The one you are currently seeing is from Blogs@Baruch which uses the WordPress platform.
This site(WordPress) has enabled me to reach students at Baruch College. I have already done something similar on facebook, but here I can reach a new audience. Students and Faculty members can access this blog and find information on Tibet that is tailored for them. I will post images and video footage as they come. There has been really big news recently that has not been covered much on the local news. I will thoroughly update you on that also.
Q: If anyone else knows of, or is tied to, a political struggle, please do let me know so we can discuss on the situation. I always try to keep up with international news.
