The topic I want to pursue is the legitimacy of the group known as the Khorasan. It is a Syrian terror group or is it something the U.S. concocted to justify Syria strikes. There are two very different view points in those of “Democracy Now!” , who believe that the Khorasan was a kind of scapegoat for the strikes and that of Cbs News which discusses the potency of the Khorasan and states that while the U.S. is focused on ISIS, there are other groups that pose a severe threat, the Khorasan being among the top of the list. I want to learn more about it because if they really are a threat then it causes the latter (It being a concoction of the U.S.) to be untrue. If it is a concoction it would be interesting and sad at the same time because though I see it all the time on television where the government does things to cover their tracks, I’ve never witnessed it first-hand or second-hand because I would be watching it on television.
