In order to be successful as a persuasive writer it does make sense that ethos, pathos, and logos should be entangled together because using ethos, you can get a person to connect and relate with you, then with pathos, you have to know what you’re talking about because it wouldn’t make sense to get somebody to believe in something that you yourself don’t understand. People also look for the credentials of the person speaking, pathos, because they’re thinking” how do I know I can trust this person? I don’t know him/her” which is the reason why many celebrities are hired to do commercials, they have credit and influence. The three don’t go anywhere without the other so they are a package deal if you want to become a persuasive writer.
