I consider myself a creative individual, envisioning a future career in the creative field where I can bring my ideas to life, conceptualize projects, and analyze the market to understand people’s desires better. While I enjoy interacting with others, drawing, and crafting, I felt unsatisfied with the prospect of pursuing a profession that limited my growth to a single direction.

Thus, when faced with the decision of choosing a major for college during my senior year of high school, I found myself perplexed. The idea of working in a bank or being confined to an office, like my parents, didn’t resonate with me. I recognized that this path was not suited for me, particularly as I struggled with mathematics. It seemed like an unpromising prospect to embark on a career and life built around it. Additionally, being somewhat introverted, making friends in new environments were challenging. Consequently, while pursuing a finance major in college, I delved into researching other fields of study. I thoroughly explored various majors, read about industry professionals, and eventually, marketing captivated my interest. Surprisingly, I hadn’t initially considered this major when applying for college. However, as I researched further, I discovered that it was the perfect fit for me. It combined my fascination with both business and creative communication. Marketing is a dynamic field that harmonizes creativity and strategy, enabling companies to craft engaging content and messages that resonate with consumers. As a future Marketing Specialist, I will gain knowledge in areas such as market research, consumer behavior, and marketing strategy. These skills are pivotal in establishing a strong brand image and executing effective marketing campaigns. It was during my college years that I truly grasped the significance of effective communication and the immense knowledge one can glean from others. Given that each person possesses a unique perspective on the future and makes crucial decisions, I made the decision to pursue a minor in communications to develop the skills necessary for effective interpersonal interactions. By honing my abilities in proper presentation, speech structure, and public speaking confidence, I strive to enhance my communication skills and enrich my overall professional profile.
